Miranda Rangel - Founder of Saving Gracie
Miranda Rangel is the passionate founder of Saving Gracie, a nonprofit mobile clinic dedicated to providing free pet surgeries and medical care for pet owners who cannot afford treatment. With a deep love for animals and a commitment to making veterinary care accessible, Miranda created Saving Gracie to ensure that no pet suffers due to financial hardship.
The inspiration behind Saving Gracie comes from a personal story close to Miranda’s heart. Her family adopted Gracie, a shelter dog from Bakersfield, after a mass was removed from her body. Unfortunately, her cancer had already spread, and she passed away a few months later. Despite her condition, Miranda’s family wanted to give Gracie a loving home for her final days instead of letting her remain in a shelter.
Through Saving Gracie, Miranda continues to honor Gracie’s legacy by helping pets receive the care they need and keeping them with the families who love them.
