Saving Gracie is a non profit free mobile clinic that offers pet surgeries and care to pet owners who can’t afford their pets medical care. At Saving Gracie, we understand and value pets as they are more than just animals; they are family. We offer affordable services to many families who struggle financially. At Saving Gracie, a nonprofit free mobile clinic, we reassure pet parents by providing free pet surgeries and medical care to pet owners who cannot afford treatment.

Founder of Saving Gracie

Founded by Miranda Rangel, Saving Gracie was created due to personal experience. Miranda and her family adopted Gracie, who was a shelter dog from Bakersfield. Unfortunately, Gracie had cancer and would undergo expensive surgery to remove the cancer mass. Despite surgery, the cancer had already spread and Gracie passed away a couple of months later. Although her time with Miranda and her family was short, Gracie was loved and cared for, rather than spending her final days in a shelter.

This heartbreaking experience motivated Miranda to create a place where no pet has to suffer due to financial hardship. Many pet owners face tough decisions — choosing between paying rent or getting their pet the medical attention it needs. Saving Gracie exists to remove that burden, allowing families to keep their beloved pets healthy and happy.
